Dial a phone
Hi,
I was contacted today by Dial a Phone after I'd filled in an upgrade search on phones4u. Long story short I took out an upgrade with them on my Vodafone contract. After the call I began to regret it so within an hr I called them and the first girl was very understanding and said she couldn't cancel it for me but would put me through to another department. After waiting several minutes I got through to another girl who once I explained that I wanted to cancel said that I couldn't as it was an upgrade!
Is this right? She said that because the phone had been dispatched (within 1hr a doubt that) and as such I couldn't cancel and that they would only change the phone but wouldn't cancel it! It looks like I'm stuck and don't know if contacting Vodafone would make any odds as I've read posts that even if Vodafone agree to cancel dial-a-phone still insist on charging for the phone.
If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it.
Cheers

This is correct, the contract has already been renewed verbally, and the phone sent out. Upgrading does not carry the same peace of mind terms than a new contract would unfortunately.0
