I wrote to the bank two weeks ago asking for clarification about what the DD was for and have not heard anything back from them at all. No acknowledgment. Diddly squat. Zero. Zilch. Should I write to them again even though I have filled in all the forms for the FOS (but havent posted them as I wanted to give the bank time to respond with a proper answer). The forms are in my handbag just ready to go. :(

I would certainly contact them again.

Okay, will do. I haven't sent off my complaint form to FOS. Thank you ever so much for taking the time and trouble to give me advice, it's gratefully appreciated.

You could also send them a sar, it might help to identify what it is. It might not though, so it's your choice and £10 :)
