Three Network Retention
Hello All
Just wondering if anybody has any experience of bartering with '3' when it came to a new deal? What are they like?
Been with them for about 6 years now on contracts/Pay Monthly rolling, before that was with them on PAYG. Was looking to take out a contract now instead to get a better phone, just wondering how heavy their discounts/loyalty is as obviously some of the iPhone deals out there are better elsewhere, but would rather remain with 3.
thanks

You will be unlikely to get anything significant.
Three know they have some of the best value. e tariffs already, that with their free 4G rollout, means crop retention offers, because they know they don't need to offer them.
I'd be looking to going sim only, with whatever network and buying a phone outright if you can0 -
If you ask for a PAC code, they will offer you slightly better deals.
And much better chance is when you asking for sim-only deal. Which basically is always a better deal, as long you can afford to pay for a phone. If your old phone is good enough to be used for few more months, you can save difference to pay for a new phone (and wait for a good deal).
Examples:
cheapest Three deal for Samsung Galaxy S4 is £33/month +£29 upfront.
Sim only deal with same minutes/texts/data cost £12.90/month, so you have to pay £20 a month for the phone.
After 24 months your phone costs £509
I seen new (or nearly new) unlocked S4 on ebay for £300 or less.
£12.90 tariff is regular price from their web page. Negotiating it as existing client you can make it less, probably around a tenner.0 -
takes about an 1 hr just to get a pac codeDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
