Yess! under £100 to go now until £9999. Just £83.94. Which in the next 2 weeks with 2 CC statements & 2 Very payments will bring that well below. Very happy, then I can start looking at my next target. Not even going to think about that until that point then if anything does go wrong the setback won't be as big.Clean credit file:12 mthsCar loan: FREE! :jTHE PLAN: 1.Pay off debt £8808.42(£3254.45, £1570.32, £2698.33, £0:dance:, £1000, £285.32) 2.Save monthly for Christmas/insurance etc £150 per month 3.Save for emergencies /£1500 4.Save for our B&B £????depends which one takes our fancy

BOOOMM!!! That's it first target reached. £9985.99 total now. Onto target 2...Get below debt total as of April 2013 when I first started recording all of the debts together, this won't take long as it is £87.94 away. Having found that some WTC has gone into my bank today (must be from the annual recalculation) I've paid the Very today as I was too excited to wait until Friday! So we're down now to £9914.90. Next week with the final £25 on the Very for now and DHs other CC statement out means we'll pass the next target with ease.Clean credit file:12 mthsCar loan: FREE!

Seriously I swear HB are trying to send me to an early grave. The amount of hassle we have with them makes you feel like just giving up work and living on the basic benefits FGS. We've even got an ongoing complaint with our MP about the way they conduct our claim and the way they treat us, but still they mess it up. So our wages fluctuate so we have to take our wage slips down quarterly, fine if the person doing the calculations knows what they're doing, but last time our average earnings increased by £4 p/wk, so our HB dropped by £25 p/wk and we lost all of our CTB. Now we've had a change in our TCs (according to the HB forms we received today it has gone up by approx £20 p/wk) but they've adjusted the CTB removing pretty much all of it over the year. If we were paying full council tax with no support whatsoever we'd have to pay £120 per month. The bill I've just received wants us to pay £203 per month! I'm speechless I really am. Words completely fail me. How can they claw back council tax support from earlier in the year when I haven't even received one payment yet of TCs at the new amount. Surely it should go from this week, not blimming April? Can't even get things straight in my head to phone up and complain, I'm off work this week with a bad chest infection, could do without this rubbish. :mad:Clean credit file:12 mthsCar loan: FREE!
