Please can someone explain me how this deal works. Do we have to spend £8 in order to get free £8?

Yes, as the deal says, you get a £16 voucher for an £8 spend.

In the case of this one though I would say you are paying for a service from Amazon so if the worst happens you should be able to claim a refund from them.
I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

It still not very clear. Do we just buy this voucher through amazon or we have to buy anything from amazon and they will give you £8 free for Redpottedhunky? Could you use the amazon e gift certificate for this?

You click buy, confirm sale they email you a link, you click it see the code , copy and paste it into your personal details section in rsh or sign up then do that. Takes up to 72 hours to show in your account.

It looks like nothing is happening btw but it does show up had one in the past.

It is a purchase from Amazon, you are literally swapping £8 cash for a £16 restricted gift voucher.

I don't think you can use e gift certs for it, I was, I think, not given an option to use my gift balance on it.

Best thing is to go through the process up to the point where you pay but if not happy back out at this point before handing over money.

If you will be buying a train ticket before the expiry date it is a good deal. it = a return ticket on some trains from Birmingham to London for £8 and on some trains 2 return tickets for £8 (if lucky enough to get the £4 one way London Midland ones in both directions :) )

RSH are always giving out these vouchers, I wonder how they make money!

I checked the same journey that I am looking at is £2.50 cheaper direct from First Great Western. So I guess RSH make money on the full priced tickets they sell. However with the £8 free credit from this voucher (and hopefully 1.5% from Quidco) I still work out better off using RSH on this occasion.

there is some kind of price match with RSH against Great WEstern, saw it on twitter. I go through TCB as I have a premium account, my rate of RSH is always higher than Quidco. Will look for link for you about Great WEstern.
