We bought our upholstery from Churchfield http://www.sofabed.co.uk/
and are delighted with the quality. They can make any of their designs into a sofabed - or not. We bought a 3 seater sofa and a 'chair bed' which is just what we needed.

We bought from Multiyork factory outlet near Diss, they have others and you get a quality item from them. Often ex display or cancelled order.
We bought two settees with different fabrics, when one faded after 8 months they said there had been a problem and they were no longer doing that fabric so would recover that one free. So we chose the same fabric as the other settee but the fabric sample they showed had a darker background, so they changed both covers.
Great service and we got to keep the old covers!

If you are on a budget, you could look at Cargo. Some of theirs looks quite nice.

  • I ordered my sofa and chair from here: http://www.sofasofa.co.uk/

They have a 21 day no quibble, money back policy. I found them to be very good to deal with.

I love my DFS leather sofas and armchair. They are now around ten years old and brilliant still. I paid over 3 years interest free with no problems.

Our sofa was bought from DFS 5.5 years ago. We've only had one problem, with the leather cushions coming away from the chair when it was just out of warranty/guarantee, but they still came out and fixed it. I'd buy another sofa from them.

Another vote for ikea! Structurally they are great and the covers are often washable/changeable so easy to update. We have had klippan and karlstad and would definitely buy again.

    Hello Sofas aka Express sofas

Depends where you are though, think they only have one factory/ outlet - it's in Batley Yorkshire.

Son bought a suite from them last year, very happy with it.

    edit: love this bit

    Haha Yorkshire hospitality . . .

Just had a look on their website, i don't live far from them there,
i have to say that the photos would put me off going

Just not my taste at all. It's good that they show where Redbrick Mill is though, fantastic furniture there.
