iPad air question

Hi, I'm thinking of buying one.
I'm aware that they can take photos but is there a way to print the photos?
Also can video filmed on them be transferred to a windows laptop? Or anywhere else?
Thanks for any help, I'm new to apple products.

Yes you can print the photos, Apple support a few wireless printers for direct printing or you can transfer them to computer and print them from there.

Video can be transferred to a computer running any modern operating system and can be put onto iCloud for sharing (or other cloud solutions)

If you're thinking of using an iPad to take photographs in public, particularly when there are other people around, then buying a tee-shirt that says "I am a selfish idiot" is probably cheaper and easier.

Got plenty of tee shirts thanks. Why not change your user name to "I've got nothing useful to add"

Enable Icloud \ Photostream and when the ipad is on charge on wifi the pictures will synch direct to computer and other apple devices..

Also usb connection can also be synched with pc\mac..

But seriously, byranb - securityguy does make a good point - the camera on your phone is probably better, and definitely less antisocial.
I do use the camera on my tablet to take photos of items for eBay, just for convenience, but otherwise a phone or (shock horror) an actual camera will be far better, especially if you want to print them.

Seriously as well. I haven't indicated how I intend using iPad. I haven't even got one! I asked about the capability of one, that's all.
If I want to take photos I have a couple of decent cameras.
