Hi, I'm thinking of buying one.
I'm aware that they can take photos but is there a way to print the photos?
Also can video filmed on them be transferred to a windows laptop? Or anywhere else?
Thanks for any help, I'm new to apple products.

Yes you can print the photos, Apple support a few wireless printers for direct printing or you can transfer them to computer and print them from there.
Video can be transferred to a computer running any modern operating system and can be put onto iCloud for sharing (or other cloud solutions)0 -

I have win7 on laptop, can I transfer by usb cable? This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -

Got plenty of tee shirts thanks. Why not change your user name to "I've got nothing useful to add"This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -
Enable Icloud \ Photostream and when the ipad is on charge on wifi the pictures will synch direct to computer and other apple devices..
Also usb connection can also be synched with pc\mac..0 -
But seriously, byranb - securityguy does make a good point - the camera on your phone is probably better, and definitely less antisocial.
I do use the camera on my tablet to take photos of items for eBay, just for convenience, but otherwise a phone or (shock horror) an actual camera will be far better, especially if you want to print them.0 -

Seriously as well. I haven't indicated how I intend using iPad. I haven't even got one! I asked about the capability of one, that's all.
If I want to take photos I have a couple of decent cameras. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0
