    Thanks for going to all this trouble Taiko! I have been doing some more reading and we may not qualify as I have just started a new job which may take us above the limit, although I will need to do the calculations when your spreadsheet is uploaded.

    Although we are being assessed automatically for Childcare Grant and PLA via student finance due to the low income for the tax year 12-13. It may be we get awarded it then have to repay it at the end of the year :/

    If that is the case we could reject it I suppose. We couldn't opt out of being assessed for these if we wanted to apply for a maintenance grant... very strange trying to get to grips with how it all works!

    You might need to play around with the figures in Stage 1 on student income, as rates have changed since I was assessing. I'm afraid right now I don't have the time to update everything.
