But the OP did hence why it is a relevant question given they have asked how they knew their name. If you left it to go to voicemail then then the question would be what your voicemail message says.

Got a call today from a an aggressive sounding woman with a manchester accent. When I questioned the refund she wanted to give me from 'something' prior to 2011 she replied im not scamming you ive got better things to do. When i ask for her to tell me the company she worked for she told me 'its a very successful one' - I hung up - funny how this number keeps being used, but i have reported it to the fraud line

It's in context with the thread. The telephone calls are coming from the same number and are made by a woman with a Manc accent.

Why get wound up about it? I had the same thing on my business phone last week, sounds like the same woman. I would say she wasn't aggressive, she merely had a Salford accent and was quite bubbly in nature, I would even say her age range was about 30. She is just trying to do her job and earn some money. She even finished the call with ' Thanks Love' which made me smile.

Don't you think that there might be several of their employees who are women with accents from the Manchester area who work for a company based in the Manchester area?
