Cheapest 2MB Broadband ?

Hi all

After reading all the threads I still could not work out which is the best 2MB Broadband, capped is fine.

Can anyone beat Tiscali 2MB at £19.99 and capped at 15GB ?

Many thanks

Mark

Well Tiscali have a very poor track record with there service and customer support, their biggest problem come when you try and cancel your ADSL contract.... nightmare and the quality and technical support is not up to scratch. I would not try and save a few bob by only looking at a cheap provider, look at the service they provide and the feedback from its members.

Look at this site http://www.adslguide.org.uk and compare comments etc and go from there. For information Im with Plusnet and using their 2MB ADSL service, its been top notch so far and no problems with the quality of service and the technical suport is A1.

Plusnet have had a slagging of late due to them dropping there FUP (Fair Usage Policy) but I cant complain as they are conducting 8MB tests and will be one of the 1st providers to supply 8M to their customers, of which praying I can get as Im only 136mts from the exchange.

    Theres that little clause again

    6. Use of the Service

6.1 You shall not use the Service:

in a way that in BT's reasonable opinion could materially affect the quality of any telecommunications service, including the Service, provided by E7even.

Another get out clause for unlimited broadband. Along the same lines as the TalkTalk clause. It means they can blame BT if they have to block or restrict your downloads.

I would not go with Tiscali M8 but Pipex provides a good quality service.

Also stay away from BT, AOHELL and Wanadoo (freeserve)
