Hi all,

Just wanting soemone to put my mind at rest really. After much deliberating I ordered an iphone from the Orange online shop, went through all the delivery options, chose to have it delivered to the local orange (ee) shop , payments details etc etc. Now it said online an email confirming my order would be sent to me, it gave the order number on the last page of the order but I closed the page, thinking it would be ok as an email would be sent, it hasnt though.... I'm worried if anything goes wrong I have no order number to chase it up, has anyone else done this?

Many thanks pink.1970

they can trace with your details
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

    Thank you,
I usually write order numbers etc down, but this time I just closed the page, really silly I know. I just wanted to know if they had received the order.

  • If you've not already done so then check your email junk folder in case the email provider has marked it as spam. The reply email may just be in there.

Another thing I've found useful is the save the webpage option in your browser so that you have a backup copy of order numbers etc in case the email does not arrive as promised.

In google chrome it's under the three bars at the top right of the screen marked as - "save page as..." and this will allow you to keep a copy of the webpage until the email arrives. Belt and braces so to speak!

Thanks warhead, Yes I have checked spam folder, nothing there. i realised after I had closed the page, so cannot get screen shots or save as function, but good advice for next time.

Check your browser history, the page may be cached?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • I use the Drive App in Chrome to just screenshot order pages or T&C's. Always good to keep them on file.

I would doubt the page will cached as order pages are mostly dynamic and done over a secure connection which means information needs to be resubmitted.
