try the side by side reset, if that fails then they might be broke.. Otherwise it could be something with your household wiring and consumer unit setup..
  • Has your home been extended ? do both plugs connect back to the same fuse box / consumer unit ? they have to share the same wiring in order to work, so my guess is if they work together in the same room, but not in the two further rooms, then the wiring is your issue....

Just a thought, the one near the router is plugged into a surge protection one, could that be the problem??
    Yes.
Have you not got 2 normal sockets to test this.

OK sending this from the laptop from the wired connection, sat side by side, so elimination 1 - they do work, maybe the wiring then. Know we have 2 ring mains for he lighting, but thought we only had one for the plugs, will have to ask DH when he gets back.

So if not second question, how can I extend my wifi signal and keep a good speed?

Is this for your SmartTV (doesn't this have a wired connection?) or other device(s)?

EDIT: answering your question, 4 options:-
    1. using your homeplugs, plug a cheap wireless router/switch at the remote end (ask if you're interested)

    2. buy this device from SOLWISE to extend your homeplug network to 3 devices (ASSUMPTION: net-x uses INTELON NT6400 chipset)

    3. buy another set of homeplugs (bit silly but would gaurantee working if the net-x is some strange standard)

    4. buy an extender (the riskiest/slowest option in my view)

Sorry, I'm confused, you already have an extender and you're asking us how to set it up?
EDIT: lots of youtube videos showing how to set up a Huawei WS320 :-)

EDIT2: just seen your new thread. Grrr.

Make sure the homeplugs are not plugged into extension leads. They work best when plugged directly into the wall sockets.
