Note 3

Hi thinking of selling my old nexus 7 & iPhone 4 & getting a note 3 - is the note 3 a good replacement for the nexus 7?

I want to buy outright, prices seem to vary, which is the cheapest sim free so I can continue with giff gaff...or would monthly contract for 18 months work cheaper ? (Think some do Nhs discounts)

As your used to a Nexus 7 I would look at a Nexus 5 as it uses Vanilla Android as opposed to Samsung bloatware infested Android.

The best place to compare with working models is an O2 shop. My wife has an original Note and when I was trying to decide between a Nexus 5, Moto G or S4 the Nexus won hands down but went with the Moto G which was my second choice due to cost. I am very happy with my choice. I thought I wanted an S4 but when I tried a different models this got relegated to 3rd.

During the same visit my wife preferred the Nokia 1520 ahead of the Note 3 as she was having a play on handsets as well.

Sounds like you want a phablet so in terms of screensize then yes the Note 3 is a good replacement for the Nexus 7.

Screen size aside the Nexus 5 is a sweet phone and so is the Moto G. Both are better priced than the Note 3.

Nexus 5 will be too small. Definitely want a phablet & note 3 comes highly rated

I have a NOTE 3 and I will say its the best phone. 5.7" size 3200mhz battery. and comes with stylus which is so handy.

Trust me mate Note 3 is the one u should buy
