Flight from Egypt to UK delayed by 5.5 hours. Followed MSE guide and submitted a claim online. No argument from airline and claim accepted by them. £2000+ on way back into my account - 600 Euros per person. Result!

Good result. Some details would be helpful though eg which airline, which route, which date. And if it's one of the main airlines, to post on that thread for folk to see.0 -

Doubt if the needed details will be forthcoming. I've seen these: "I sent a letter and the airline paid out without a fuss and cheque is banked" posts before. Hope the poster tells us more.;)0
