All my washing is in now and bone dry *grins*.
it won't all need to be ironed, either *grins again*
Have been much amused by someone on Mumsnet who had three child-made fat balls hardening in the fridge and her husband ATE one - was 'a bit greasy' apparently! :rotfl:

I need to go over the planning and resources for the training I'm delivering tomorrow afternoon ............."There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Think I've solved many flying issues.......keep having people to dinner/overnight and weekend guests as it is an incentive to get it sorted......well it works for the lounge/dining room/spare bedroom anyway. Pity my office and main bedroom are such a tip though...........
Did lots in garden today (this includes a book and a yoga mat to lie on).
Was shattered yesterday as I did a long assessment in the morning, goodness knows how the client felt. Must make a start on writing it up this evening.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Evening all!
Happy belated birthday CY. Hope you all had the sunshine today too. I spent the middle part of the day driving home from my lovely weekend away.
Was really nice, but also nice to get my lovely littlies back home where they belong :A I do miss the little moos when I'm not with them
There is stuff everywhere. I need to do the last of the ironing I started on Friday morning and put the board away. I need to unpack all our bags, and get stuff ready for school. I have a bit of paid stuff to attend to tonightand I want an early night. I haven't had lots to drink this weekend but I was dancing until midnight last night
so could use a good sleep in my own bed.
Really does feel like there's stuff everywhere!Bossymoo

EVERYTHING is ironed.
been to fill the car up. Much chaos as someone has mis fuelled and someone else decided to wait across the exit while she waited for the air...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

WARNING! WHINGE ALERT!
I swear, my entire family would have me wipe their backsides if they could. I had a horrible migraine in the night, sick, the lot. And despite there being six other capable people in the house, no one has done ANYTHING this morning. Not a sausage, except make more mess. I have asked, nagged, shouted and huffed and it's worse than it was at 10am. DS1 even had the nerve to strop when I refused to stop ironing to make him a sandwich. Seriously?! He's 12 years old, I think he can butter bread and slap some ham on it.
I am so fed up of being overworked and under appreciated.
I'm done moaning now. Move along, nothing to see here
Oh I am with you hun. Our only shower is broken. DS1 (15) came and asked me if I would run him a bath. I am washing up, ironing and doing a million other things at once. Oh for goodness sake cant you run it yourself I say.
I dont know how to use the bath he replies.
Am I going mad, really???? My 15 year old son doesnt know how to use the bath!!!
I am off to get the hoover out. Everyone else is relaxing. Well, it is Sunday night isnt it?0 -
Evening all. A busy day here. DH put furniture together and washed the car. I have walked the dogs, done the dailies, cut the grass and broken the vacuum cleaner, which DH isn't happy about as he now has to go to the dump and spend more money on yet another one.
But I have sourced a bargain, down from £180 to £74 and will be delivered on Tuesday.
Lets hope for another lovely day weatherwise tomorrow.
Have a great evening everyone.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
You won't be surprised to hear that I have been in the garden all day. Joints are a tad achy now but hey garden is starting to look great.
DH and DS1 have heavily pruned a very large shrub - it is not quite how I'd have done it but hey I didn't have to do it, skip bag full of branches will need to go to the tip tomorrow.
I've done a few paid hours in my neighbour's garden and DS3 has played in the other neighbour's garden for most of the day.
Ironing to do in a bit.
Valli - I have just finished reading that too.
Right I'll do the new list then I need to iron some school shirts. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
