If you want to spend around £100 then you won't go wrong with this in my opinion.

It's no looker, but this will prove just how reliable and stable it has been for me...

It also has a built in ADSL modem should you ever decide to switch to an ADSL provider.

You could always call Virgin and see if you can blag a new Superhub 2.
They are much better than the original ones which are now not issued.
Failing that, a cheap TPlink router will suffice, costing around £30. Just make sure you get a cable router....

I've had a D-Link DIR-655 connected to my Superhub configured to modem only from day 1 and it's been rock solid.

Business customers can't get Super Hub 2, just Super Hub 1. Consider yourself lucky!

If you'd started your own thread, I would have been able to ask whether the Tiscali router was an ADSL router (yes, it is), not a broadband router (as is needed when connected to a Super Hub which is in modem mode). The Tiscali router will put out a signal, but you'll never be able to connect to it.

See the distinction under "Need the best wireless router?" (other fine wireless router suppliers are available...)

Thanks. I have started my own thread now. Hopefully I can solve my problem.
