LOVE ME, LOVE MY NEWFOUNDLAND.:A0 -
Hi everyone-hope you're all having a good day.
My day went well despite my fears this morning. Its a really small branch and everyone was really friendly. It was really quiet all day until about 4.30 and then people started appearing from nowhere. We closed at 5.30 and we were still full of customers then! Didn't get home until gone 6.30, was a very long day. My old manager is now the manager of the branch I worked at today-it was nice to see her and have a good gossip. She said theres always overtime there if I ever want to go back, so that could be a nice way to earn some extra money.
The excitement is just kicking in with me-I'm going away this weekend with OH. Got to start packing for it soon-I'm terrible at packing though and I always take 10 times as much as I really need. What do I need though-I can never work it out!
Sitting here eating macaroni cheese and watching emmerdale now, relaxing after my hard (!) day. I'm going to watch eastenders, have a bath and then start packing I guess.
Hope everyones ok.

Don't you just hate it when people keep going back to the things that made them ill in the first place?
Don't you just wish you were some way able to stop them doing so and making them feel wanted so they don't keep going back?
I've not been out for 3 days as i've lacked the confidence to do so and I look at magazines for the one person who brings me joy in life and.....pictures of her sitting on a kerb crying and then her evil mother who started it all saying she's going to try and save her.
Breaks my heart and makes me angry.
Anyway, i've some catching up to do (and some PM's to reply too - I haven't forgotten, I just haven't been here due to being so down!)
Will catch up this evening hopefully - my dinner will be ready soon though0 -
Meyore - glad you had a good day at work plus the offer of overtime at the new branch (can't be bad).
If you are going away for a weekend - well you don't need to pack much:
underwear
socks
jeans/trousers
jumper
skirt or a dress
top
tights
shoes
trainers/boots
hair stuff
tooth stuff
shower stuff
towel (you never know)
body stuff
perfume
hat n gloves (it might be cold)
Remember you are not going for 6 months just a few days:rotfl:0 -
Postcards? What for?
Hopefully we'll get to see each other-his section have to pass an inspection tomorrow before hes allowed out. Hes pretty confident it'll be ok though. I think we'll just meet halfway and stay in a travel lodge or something-nothing flash, but I'll be happy anyway.

It doesnt sound silly, sometimes we can find comfort in the fact that we arent alone, for you it is britney that keeps you going, and ya cats, for me its my baby, she soo cute
I think its only natural that you feel you have lost yaself when the person you wanted to be with forever and a day has gone, its hard enough to loose people we love but when its someone soo close the pain might never go, but time can kinda numb it a little, she will always live on tho hun, in your heart, as long as we keep those ones close to us, they will never die as they live within us. I know when my nana died i was soo torn, she was one of my guardians when i was growing up, and my rock, but people see a likeness in me to her, and now that im older i see it too. So she lives on in mehope some of that makes sense :rotfl:
dont worry im always sensible now, i see some girls on nights out, getting with any guys, and there proper sleezy too, i have standards :rotfl:I have good mates that keep an eye on me when im out, and i keep an eye on them, example is if we are in a crowded place they put a circle round me so i dont get trodded on, and if theres a sleezy guy, they pull me away and dance with me, to take me outta that kinda situation. :T:D
hope you have a good day today
xxxx
It sounds silly to most, but I don't care what people thinkI like what I like and we all have to enjoy what we can
Your paragraph makes alot of sense. I guess i've never learnt how to live without my partner. I've got by, but I want to do more than get by and without her by my side, i'm hopeless.
Glad you are careful. Alot of men have no morals (and women). I don't mean sleeping around, I have no issue with that (although, if I ever meet a woman, if she's been around the block and it's car park, i'd be very cautious :rotfl: ) but the fact that some of these people have no respect for partners etc and the night places become cattle markets0 -
doesnt it go to are !!!!!! first? :rotfl:
or maybe thats just me swear when i sit down, my bum expands, :rotfl:
ahh just think few years and i will be getting my pension, walking around with a walking stick, with arthiritis, et ell, .....lovely

Men and women are different. Men get bowling balls, women get spare tyres.I think my backside isn't too bad :rotfl:
I'm a walking rust bucket already, so don't worry0 -
