Thinking of Tiff and the rest of you.
I don't like this quiet thread we have at the moment.
I want all my chicks gathered up and in one place where I can see them.

    Hi bmf!:hello:
    quote=BigMummaF :whistle:
Morning All. For once I feel good, maybe due to the 5:30am dash to Mr T for some tooth gel. My [22yo!] baby has a wisdom tooth coming through & as grumpy as grumpy is-bear with proverbial has nuttun on 2 of my offspring if you speak to them before noon!:rotfl:
It's good to hear you're feeling better angel.;) Poor thing - toothache is pure hell!:o Try some oil of cloves if that doesn't help - chemists or supermarkets sell that sort of thing.

The next few weeks are looking a bit grim tho, as No1 offspring is moving back home coz his firm have 'restructured' & the contract that gave a good bonus to the 8 or so willing to work it has gone to another depot. I'm chuffed to little splinters about :D it but his brothers are not so keen. Trouble was when their male parent left home, everyone told 9yo No1 "you're the man of the house now" & he sort of took it literally. The other two siblings were forever saying "you can't tell me what to do-you're not my dad" when in truth all he was doing was trying to give me some support:o , & some things have not changed.
You'll have to forgive the ol' Tiffster but can't quite put together the family picture. Sure I've got it wrong.
Was DS1 from an earlier relationship than 2 & 3?
Is that why they feel a bit rebellious maybe?
And is there a big age gap?
Still it's nice to know that he's coming home for a while. i bet you're all excited.:j The best you can do here imho, is to guide DS1 and ask him not to be too full on, that there are stages of reaction to go through and the lower the key the better.;)

How can family members be so different:confused: ? It's the same with my sister(?) & I. Although she is seven years older than me, I'm the one who contacts her about what we can do for Mum's birthday etc,& go with Mum to sort out her finances & stuff. Not that I'm bothered about helping Mum out, but big sis can't even phone Mum once a month for a chat & they only live 2miles apart!
I know hun - it's enough to send you up the wall sometimes. As they say, we didn't choose our family - but we can now make choices about them.;)
They'll let it fall to you for as long as you step in to do it. I know you'll be reluctant to stop as it may leave your Mum stuck, but there again, there are agencies like CAB and social services that can help her manage things like finances.
And maybe sis needs a friendly reminder that you would appreciate her organizing this year's birtday celebrations for Mum - or at least to put more effort in.;)

Still-as 'they' say-things could be worse. I'm going to enjoy my sunshine mood while its here & radiate it to all of you good folk in hopes it will plant a little seed that will warm your soul. Peaceful Minds. BMFx/quote
Yes hun, things could be worse - and it seems that my 'raison d'etre' is to prove that theory right! :D :rotfl:
Let's hope we never confirm it.;)
    Have a nice day hun.
    - I just put the laundry out 10 minutes ago and the sun has gone!!!  :o
See what I mean about my theory?! ;)
    Take care angel. hug.gif

    Hi sf!:hello:
How are you hun? You sound quite chipper.:T
You're a real sweetie - someone and/or something will snatch you up soon.;) Try some lateral thinking sf...
Erm, do you think that maybe you could be a pole dancer?
I can't help but wonder why I never became a Careers officer? Hmm...:D :rotfl:

Well first hun, I have the deep joy of bringing in the soaking wet laundry off the line after a heavy downpour 5 minutes ago! :o

I'm going to town at some point, (when DS becomes vertical again! Might give me time for a catnap!:D ), checking in on my Mum bless her, letters to write, phone calls to make, thinking about creating a wet laundry sculpture to explain to anyone who turns up why wet washing is knee high - now the 2nd load has finished and needs drying too!
    Then I'm on saz-watch suspicious.gif
Hey - are you up yet sazzy hun? :D

Hope you're dry where you are angel.;) Have you got anything fun planned sf?
I'll catch you later sweetie - just heard a thud and a grunt which means DS is vertical!:D Little does he know that for the next week, I'm putting him through the Tiff Housework Boot Camp! :rotfl:
It'll be good training for him. Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it - I just want to torment him!;) After all isn't that what college holidays are for? :p:D
Take care sf - be good now.hug.gif

All three children are from my marriage, & it's strange you should ask if there is a big age gap because there is less than four years between them all & I've often wondered if that were the cause. I think it is due to No1 son always having been 'responsible' even as a toddler, the middle one is.. ..hard to describe....typical Virgo without the tidy gene! He's really quite mersenary & will only do things that are of benefit to him directly, while the youngest falls between the two depending on which way the wind blows;) !

Anyhoo, No3 has had an emergency dental app & has an abscess. While I sympathise whole-heartedly, I am a little peeved at the continual references to him having to miss a night out tomorrow, to celebrate a couple of mates birthdays this week, like I called up & ordered gross bad timimg just to spite:rotfl:

Enough of my griping...my good mood hasn't completely disappeared but is fraying around the corners! Peaceful Minds Folks, BMFx
