Sorry, but the pictures of the speed hump seems to indicate different roads, because I cannot see a grass verge to the immediate side of the road in the first picture.
Has your car been customised, including having lowered suspension?

My car has not been customised, most cars going over the hump are getting scraped. The 2nd picture indicates the type of speed bump it is, sorry for not making it clearer.

Im not sure what andygd is getting at but I would suggest if you have scrapped you have gone over the speedbump too fast.

I'm not sure either. Nope, there is a slight dip then as you hit the bump it scrapes.

Think I agree with andygd on this one.

What is the first photo supposed to show, why has it been scribbled all over, what is he trying to obscure?

The second photo is a completely different location and shows a standard table top speed bump which is about as high as the curb and has a gentle gradient up and down.

I was trying to draw a hump but obviously didn't come out right. The 2nd picture indicates the type of speed bump it is, sorry for not making it clearer.

So why would you need to draw it, just take a photo.

The photo is not the problem, I'm sure you get my drift whether or not the picture is picture perfect or not. Scotsbob & Alastairq had no problem with answering my question.

A neighbour has beat me to it and will be taking this matter forward with the local authority. Thanks

I do not believe the OP is genuine. A road hump or table would not be installed in such a location on the junction with a main road , it would be moved back so that warning notices can be accommodated , A hump or table would only be installed where vehicles will cross it at 90 degrees, not on a swept bend entry as shown where it would be a hazard to all road users particularly cyclists.

Put your foot down hard when you pull away from the bump. The extra revving noise will annoy the people living next to it. This in turn leads them to complain to the council about the noise nuisance as a result of the speed bumps.

I did this with a set of traffic lights down a residential road that used to always turn red when traffic approached. Don't think the people living next to them liked it when I used to pull away from them at 5.45am every morning on way to work.

They don't change to red anymore. :)
