One problem may be the vehicle insurance.
The premium for any policy takes into account the car safety features and now that the OP is aware that the airbag system won't operate in the event of a collision, they should really inform their insurers.
The only way that the insurers would probably find out about the disabled system without being told would be if the car was involved in an accident and the garage or damage assessor reported that the airbags didn't deploy, and if they were able to prove that the OP was aware that the system wasn't working, it may cause problems with them paying out if the car occupants were injured in the accident.0 -
im itching to stick a fuse in and see what happens......what are the odds they explode ???
going to get a noise looked at later in week to see what it is then contact him with both issues if indded the noise is an issue.0
