Debranding N95

Thanks to the post "best deals n95" i got mine yesterday morning..
i am on 02 at the moment and would like to use my sim in the phone while my contractin is changing over to voda however i was wondering of the phone can be unlocked or is it worth debranding the phone as in the previous thread.
any help much appreciated ta..

will i have any probs if i debrand the phone as sending messages and things like that...

debranding is quite easy apparently.

all you need is nemesis service suite (google it) and change the product code to a generic one and then update the firmware via nokias update service and change the product code back to the one under the battery just incase the generic one causes any problems.

to unlock them you will have to phone up the network it is locked to as they are the only people that can supply you with the code as its a bb5 nokia

You will need to phone o2 to get it unlocked though.

i ahve now debranded the pone but have lost a few icons like tv and such..
anyone any ideas on how to get these back..

I had the same problem with tv, the way round it is to go on to the web but connect through vodaphone live rather than gprs and you get see the tv channels from here;)
