Hi im looking for some advice regarding my npower account, i will try and keep it short.
Got a bill 5th February monthly payment £187 i divided that by 30 giving me my daily usage for both gas and electric which came out at £6.23
my bill stated that both my gas and electric added up to £2.84
gas £0.72
electric £2.12
difference of £3.34
On my bill it showed that I was £962.53 in credit. phoned up npower and they said that i was only £254 in credit and that the bill was wrong, how convenient for them.
my bill shows 8 months of payment at £187 for each month from the 1st July 2013 up till 2nd February 2014. can anyone explain to me where the other £708.53 has gone to because all npower says is that my bill is wrong and should have never been sent out but yet are still charging me the same amount a month.
many thanks for reading this and for any help.
Aidan

Ask them for an accurate up to date replacement bill.
Check whether the meter readings for gas and electricity they are showing on the bill are actual readings (or customer readings provided by you) and not estimated readings.
read the meters and check that the current readings (broadly) match the readings on the bill.0
