I'd save the 99p and just use one of these to attach it to the windscreen

I s'pose it's only got to last a few months, so - yeh - that'll probably do the job. Just.

Are you aware they aren't self adhesive so are not designed to stick to the windscreen on their own?
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

Mine fell off a few months ago. It just sits on the dash where it fell, in the holder and clearly visible

If say you buy a 12 month disc now, come October can you stop displaying it or do you have to carry on displaying until it expires e.g. March 2015?

My current disc is just wedged in corner of dashboard still attached to the paper it came in. :rotfl:

Try a visit to your nearest 'go-faster' shop....see if they've got a freebie tax disc holder they'd give you [with their logo plastered all over it?]?

Or, spend some money in Halfrords, and buy a customised holder?

And for those who think this thread is a waste of ink, why respond to it?

I 'teach' all aspects to do with driving to an awful lot of young people....and am no longer amazed at how little they all know about vehicles, and what goes on with them.

A question such as this thread, really is a sign-of-the-times with vehicle owners.......and this forum really is the best place to pose such questions.

[In my 'day', I would go and ask someone who I thought would 'know'....these days, we have tinternet!]
No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......

This is a money saving website. Maybe the OP needs some advice?

This will be a long lasting solution and won't cost you a penny.

Borrow some superglue off a neighbour.

    For moneysaving:

Borrow your neighbours sellotape, and stick a big X across the disc to the screen.

    For more moneysaving:

Don't take the sellotape back ;)
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

A few weeks ago, I wandered into the nearest National Windscreens branch and walked out with a new taxdisc holder, free.

    I asked, they gave.

I cleaned the glass and stuck it on. Job done.
