Hey hon
Sorry to hear you haven't been well. Hope you feel better soon.
Great to hear that you've got the main bits sorted though and that the money for the post grad loan is waiting already. I'm sure the feeling you're getting from knowing that is worth continuing for the rest of the year - and beyond!
Have a great dayxx

Hi all,
Feeling much better although I still have a residual cough. Yeah feeling very sorry for myself. Got loads more of the assignment done - needs to be in for Friday and hope to be finished tonight.
I think I have totally overestimated the amount I can put away for savings as I have run out of month before I even start. I am really reluctant to not put this amount into savings but I think I need to rethink it. I am getting so impatient and trying to get all of this sorted as quick as possible. Maybe when this terms fees come out and the post grad loan is paid I will see the impact it has made on all of my debts and I can accurately record exactly what I still owe and what I still have left to pay....
Need to control the impatience too.
Anyway thanks for listening to the ramblings

So hello all.
The assignment is done and has been submitted. Woo hoo... Results for last terms exams are out next week so I have everything crossed. Looking forward to this term being over and then I can start the project.
Trying to get a bit more control of my spending this month and so far so good.... Have paid this terms fees. One of the payments gone - only 4 left to go by the end of the year.
Thanks for reading.

Good evening all,
So how is it going? Looks like loads of people have continued to make really good inroads into their debts. I must admit I am getting a little bit frustrated with saving but I am trying really hard to keep on track. Once I have paid off the loan I am sure I will feel more motivated. Before I was on this money saving road I would always treat myself whether I needed the item or not. It definitely makes you think about whether items are a necessity.
I have used my savings to pay off the terms fees for January and will be paying off the loan in April - money is in a savings account earning interest while the deadline appears. I also will have the money in the savings by the time it comes round to pay off the 0% credit card bill and the last term's fees so I am on track to do it. Just need to focus on squirreling money together for the folks afterwards.
Wonder what the next battle plan will be? Maybe it will be the mortgage and get rid asap???
Oh might as well dream here as my bed. Take care all and thanks for dropping by.
Good luck with your journeys wherever they may take you - although hopefully they will bring you joy and smiles along the way.

Hello lovely
I think you're doing a great job and still remain totally focussed which is the main thing.
I always struggle with savings and especially with savings account interest rates. I thought I'd got a good deal but on £1000 I only got 77p for the month so I need to find somewhere better to put it. Saying that after next month I won't have any savings any more! lol
Have a fab journey tooxx

Hiya,
Thanks sassychick for keeping an eye...
So how is everyone doing? I think I have overestimated what I can pay yet again.... I get so excited and see how much I have coming in so put that into the pot for savings towards the debts - there will be another terms fees to pay as well as those mentioned below and I'm not sure I can do it..
I think this month is going to be really pushed again! I'm getting really disheartened by it. I do read others diaries and realise my issues are not the same as others but it is still hard.
Doh!!! I had started today really well as I am trying to use up as much toiletries and make up as possible before starting up or buying a new one. Have realised if I cut up a shower gel bottle it will last at least another week than when I would have thrown it out before. amazing what frugal living can do. I've also been bulk cooking which helps hubby so he isn't having to cook every night and also helps us with savings etc. Oh well need to lift myself up as have too much to do today.
Not sure I had enough sleep last night but no idea what the problem was. Do remember a dream where I was eating a sausage which in normal circumstances is ok except I have become a vegetarian since January and would be devastated if I did this....Doh!
Anyway off to gather up energy to have a productive Sunday. Take care and happy money saving you lovely lot.

Hi all
Well I have updated my signature and have had to withdraw some of the money to pay off last terms university fees. I am really struggling currently and think I have totally overestimated the money I have to save every month. Need to get this sorted as I think I am so desperate to get it all sorted by the end of the month that I just want to get it done now. Think I am going to have to calm down with all of this...
Just feeling a little fed up at the mo....
Have a good evening

Hi all
I am currently lurking on the different threads reading about everyones ups and downs rather than settling into the books to study for exam on Thursday and the following Wednesday. Have also decided to add to the mix and apply for a new job with the interview on Monday morning. Have completed the online psychometric test and have the report in my grubby little hands that I need to be prepared to feedback on, have completed the presentation which has been sent and will be delivered to 21 members of staff in the organisation and then have an interview in front of 5 senior managers. SUGAR... What the hell am I doing? When I said to my little one that I was thinking of not doing it she went mad and said why did I apply for it in the first place if I didn't want it. And wasn't it something I wanted and we can't always guarantee that the time is right.
Out of the mouths of babes.
I am so protagonising at the minute but then any of you who have read my short missives know that is what I am good at doing. OH has his regular with his oncologist on Tuesday and I hope it goes well. I haven't been able to go with him as we have a senior away day where not being there was not an option. Going to pray hard that the news is ok as it really sent him into a bit of a tailspin last time when news was not delivered in a good manner and as a result I had to do a lot of counselling and holding to make him back to where he should be. Thought doctors nowadays were being taught how to be more empathetic in their approach. Not this numpty.
Oh well as you can see I have lots to do and being here is probably not the best use of time.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend

Hey hon
Just stopping by to see how you're doing. Listen to your little one and stop protagonising now as you know you'll be ok at the interview - good luck!
Good luck on Tuesday to your OH too.xx

Well - I wasn't successful with the job but no one was appointed from the 6 who were interviewed but they want me to arrange a face to face meeting to discuss structured feedback. I was quite pleased with this as the response from those who were in the audience who listened to my presentation thought I came across really well but my actual panel interview didn't come across the same. They also want me to consider a coach from within their organisation which would be fantastic for me. Felt really valued and that they saw something in me - yes I know no job but at least not an absolute or as my brother said a pfo - polite f&£% off.... I'm definitely going to pursue this though.
Hubby got on great with the oncologist - PSA has dropped to 1.6 which is a massive improvement. :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
A sigh of relief until the next appointment. I'm off to study but wish you all a Happy St Patricks day.
