Hey hon
Shame about the job but the feedback & encouragement is fantastic. They clearly think highly of you and I'm sure you'll get the right job for you soon.
Also great to hear OH is doing well. That must be another relief for you.
Happy St Patrick's Day to you too. Littley went to school with Irish clips & bobbles in her hair - we're from Irish stock so we're allowed! lol Looked cute as a button.
Have a great eveningxx

Thanks Sassy Chick.
DO you know although I was a little upset the feedback from a different organisation was amazing.
OH is DELIGHTED with himself. Such a relief and now we can have 6 months of him being himself until he starts to work himself up again. Always distressing to watch if I am honest with you. Also I can hear Mum's voice when she rings to find out how he got on with a slightly disapproving tone - you know - wouldn't have to be going through this if I had chosen a man my own age. Hey ho!!! You can't choose who you fall in love with and who you connect with on such a level that your world is complete....... Chuck bucket time. Anyone would think that they thought DD's dad was a better option. Absolutely- bloody- not!!!!!!
Her hair bobbins sounded cute. Mine had to go in normal clothes today - something about how they would dress for an interview and wore her St Patrick's day badge that Granny sends over every year.....
Anyway back to the books. Night night and thanks for stopping by Sassy xxxE.F. #38 240.55/1000 SPC8 #375

Hi all,
Just coming on to have a rant over non money saving things really. Really struggling with everything at the minute - between work, study and just feeling a little out of control. I sometimes have dark days that hit me hard and unexpectedly and although usually I keep them at bay, it is not always easy. It's a family gene thing - absolutely sure of it - high achievers with little self confidence and perfectionism trait - worst kind.
In order to get me through the day job and the studies I have been seeing a naturopath who also does reflexology with me every fortnight and as a result I have managed to keep myself going on this mega busy path for nearly 2 years. However, right now I am exhausted. Exam on Wednesday and then that is the end of exams just the project left. But work has been tricky as most jobs are, and I am just at the end of my tether... Went to have reiki healing yesterday and been told that my brain - what little there is - is very very active and I need to learn to still it. Yep sounds about right. Feel more balanced and together since I saw Sue so it has helped but really need my regular reflexology session again -but she is on holiday for four weeks - 2 down already.
Anyway where am I going with all this? Just spoken to my mother and mentioned that I was struggling at the moment and that I was not in a good place and started mentioning the reiki healing - yes I know - what a mistaka to maka..... Anyway she told me to cop on to myself so I hung up on her. And now I feel even worse than before.... I always do this - let them in a bit and then end up fed up with the attitude. Not sure I would have managed the work and study without the extra support from the alternative therapies or without antidepressants. Had them before and didn't want to go back....Doh!!! Flipping families.
Thank God the Irish sea is between us...
Anyway sorry for the rant - I shall sign off now to return to the books and I am grateful for my husband and pain of a teenager who understand who I am and how to support me...

Hey hon
Sometimes people who don't understand things are just rude through ignorance. I'm sure your mum didn't mean to offend you so try not to get to stressed about it.
Hope all goes well for you this week, sending you a big hugxx

Hi all
Well today is the day for my last exam of this course. Woo hoo!! Then only have the dissertation to do. Hope to be finished in November.
While I am waiting for the exam to be posted at 2pm I am wasting time going through the forum but will start looking through paperwork/lecture notes/articles etc at 9.30. Its pay day today and looking through everything I can put away my normal amount and pay off everything that is needed. Don't think this month will be as tight as last month - or at least I hope not!
Plan to pay back the post graduate loan on the 1st of April (or the 4th depending on when I get time) as I think my interest is due on my ISA on the 1st so then I will know exactly what I have left to play with to pay back everything else. This way I know that I will not have to pay interest on this loan. Will be throwing the £100 I pay monthly on my halifax card once it is paid off to my savings to pay off the folks along with the amount I have been saving to pay back the loan so should be able to take it with me to Ireland to hand it over when I go back over Christmas time. There is every chance that they won't accept it from me when I do give it to them but I am hoping they will as it will help them in the future. If not, I might just put it to one side should they ever need a helping out.
Thanks for reading

Hi all,
Well it took me nearly 9 hours to do the online exam and I am really happy with how it went. I have changed my signature to reflect my progress to date as I think it is more positive for me to do it this way. the other one was way too confusing.
Hope you all have a cracking weekend. The weather here is rubbish..... but hey ho still chilling...
Have run all.

So I have got round to taking the money out of my savings account and paid it off against the postgraduate career development loan and it feels AWESOME - to quote Dave Ramsey...
So what do the debts look like now?
[STRIKE]Post Grad loan - £10,000 - if paid by end of April 2015 there will be no interest charged[/STRIKE] Paid off 01.04.2015
Next Terms Fees £1,888 - this will be the end of anything owed to university
Halifax Credit Card £1,866 - 0% is due to end middle of June 2015
Parents £5000
So the Postgraduate Career development loan is the largest debt that I have and in the next two months I am going to pay off the 0% credit card bill and also pay my final terms fees. This will mean there will be very little left in the savings pot but that doesn't matter as I have 7 months to get the money together to pay back Mum and Dad and bring it over at Christmas. Even the daughter realised that something massive happened today. :rotfl:
Hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

Hi all,
Hope you are all well and have had a lovely Easter. The weather was lovely here and had two good days to put the clothes out to dry. Woo hoo. Heating has been off so thats a saving in the pot but I must admit I have put the fire on this afternoon as I am feeling so cold at the minute.
Still feeling vulnerable and low at the moment but I think this is because I am so exhausted from everything that has been going on. Had my regular reflexology session yesterday - the wonderful woman had been on holiday for the last month so was in dire need of it - felt so much better afterwards. Yes I do believe in mumbo jumbo according to my mother. Well worth it though.
Its my birthday this week and I find it really hard to get excited about it. My brothers birthday is the day after mine and 10 years ago this summer he died in a car crash and I find the birthdays incredibly difficult. We would have been having a conversation about this time about what to buy each other and over the years he introduced me to some really cool music. Tears are rolling as I'm typing this - they say time is a healer but when the grief comes, when you think about all they are missing out on and you too, it hits a bit like a tsunami without rhyme or reason.
Hopefully the posts later on in the week will be more positive and I wish you all peace, light and happiness for the week ahead.

Hello all,
So have now paid off another debt and here is the update.
[STRIKE]This Terms Fees £1,888 - this will be the end of anything owed to university[/STRIKE]
Outstanding debt
Halifax Credit Card £1,866 - 0% is due to end middle of June 2015
Parents £5000
Another one bites the dust - it's a cue for a song and I am flipping delighted. This month has been difficult emotionally for me and as you can see I haven't been posting as much as usual but it doesn't mean that I am not thinking of you all.
Take care and TTFN xxxE.F. #38 240.55/1000 SPC8 #375

Hey hon
Firstly grief is a crappy thing and we all deal with it in different ways. Whoever said it gets easier is half right as it's not there all the time but when it does hit you bam! It's there. Sending you a big hug.
On the positive side - excellent news about paying off 2 of your debts. You must feel amazing. I'm so happy for you. Only a couple more and your done, ace!xx
