Dricing Licence Scam - Please Help

My son has inadvertently been caught by a company called 'drivinglicence.uk.com and has paid £50 for a checking service when he thought he was applying for a licence. I wasn't going to intervene but they have not upheld their end of the deal any way as no forms or anything else have been sent to him . I have told them this and demanded a refund but they are saying its not their fault royal mail have failed to deliver twice! I have emailed again insisting on a refund as they have NOT provided the service they promised, therefore the service is no longer required , Where do i stand in getting his money back?

Sorry to say there is very little you can do. These sites are cropping up everywhere, and always look very official.
If the site is genuine, then it will often hav "gov.uk" at the end - passports, tax, DVLA etc.

Cant believe people still fall for this. If its anything like the EHIC site that charges and is a checking service, they are very upfront (at least on the pay EHIC) about what they are, why they charge, and where the free site is.
