First of all, the list of the titles you want to rent are not in alphabetical order. I thought at first, it would be the order I added them in - nope! Just random. As I have 80 titles over two lists, it can be difficult to find them
Second, if you want to search for a title, and add them best to use the app, not the website as it comes up with the titles to buy, not to rent. The website when it was a standalone was much better
Thirdly, yesterday I sent back the final disc to a box set. There are no titles of this TV series on my lists, including subsequent seasons. Guess what the next disc they are sending me? Yep the same disc as the one I posted yesterday! I guessing it will be the exact disc as the serial number on the disc, the last four numbers are the same as a friend's birthday.
Fourthly, I cannot speak to anyone at Lovefilm by Post and the call centre rep I spoke to forwarded my details to them for me to get an email back within 24 hours.
Fifthly, I had some TV box sets which I set as high priority and they went back to normal during the migration.
When does migration ever work? I remember in 2004, when I was with O2, I was billed with 3.5 months of calls in a single month and that got sorted out in the end as inbetween, I was only charged for the package.

I agree; they've made a right cock-up of it.

Yeah I'm not very impressed at the moment either. There may be more changes to come but where have my ratings and past rentals gone? I know it's nerdy but I liked having those there.
I thought it'd take a lot for me to finally give up Lovefilm (many happy film-watching memories) but I think I'm getting close. Will see how it goes.0 -
I've just checked and my want to rent list is in alphabetical order and the priorities are correct.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

More worrying than lay out issues etc (although they are a pain), content that was free with my unlimited streaming account are now pay per view.
Seriously hacked off as was in the middle of a series and now would have to pay £1.89 per episode with about 10 left to watch then another 3 series worth.
Not impressed.0 -

And they wonder why there is so much piracy. :rotfl:
At that rate you would have to pay over £15 for a six episode series and over £45 for 24 episodes.
Generally speaking it would be cheaper to buy the DVD's.There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon quietly drops the rental by post service, afterall they will make more money selling you the product rather by renting it to you.0

This is the reply I got from them after emailing them my concerns.Hello *****,
We acknowledge that some shows have switched from being available for streaming to only being available purchase or rent.
We're currently looking into why these have switched, we believe this to be a mistake while transferring from Love Film to Prime Instant Video, though we have learned the licenses for streaming on some shows has ended and they will not change back, we do not have a definitive list of which shows are mistakenly changed and which have lost their streaming license.
I hope this helps.
Warmest regards,
*****
Doesn't really help, does it? :rotfl:0 -

I have wondered that. The majority of my very long rental list is not available to stream on any site so that is a worrying thought, especially as they are often titles that are expensive to buy.0 -

Sounds like they really don't know what they are doing. At least they have freely admitted it! What a shambles.0
