Barclaycard Registration -Online Banking An Impossibility!!!!

No point ranting at Barclays really, i have an old Egg card and have no problems logging in either.

Seems to be an issue at your end ? Most people who have replied don't seem to have any issues like yours.

Have you checked that you are visiting the actual Barclays site?

Are you seeing the SSL? is it signed?

What operating system are you running? which browser?

Theoretically there could be an error on the OPs account at Barclaycard preventing them logging in.

If they are getting a web page saying "System Error" then it sounds like there is nothing that can be done from userland, it's up to Barclaycard to fix it.

OP - Can you give us a screenshot of the "System Error" page? It might help determine exactly what is producing the error, whether it is something on your system, or if the error page is actually being produced by Barclaycard.

So you have already registered for mybarclaycard?

To login you need your username, passCODE and then your memorable word.

I can't remember for sure, but confusingly, I do remember being given or asked to create a password (which is different from your passcode) - I have no idea what this password is for though

I've had no problems & of all the banking sites I've used Barclays is the easiest. I use Firefox.

When you get to the site

• click on the green log in button in the top right corner
• then enter your Username or ID number, this number was in the email I received telling me my application was successful
• Enter your passcode - this I'd previously made up when applying online.
• Then enter the characters they ask for from your memorable word
• Then you should be in.

If you don't get in after following these steps, then I'm sorry I can't help.

Maybe you could pop into your local branch with your laptop & ask a member of staff to help you, the staff a my local branch are really nice. (once you've got in once, you can always change your passwords to make it private again) although the staff can see your account anyway, as I found out today, when opening an account for my teenager, as soon as I said I had a BarclayCard. He tapped in my name & postcode & was telling me how long I'd had it.
