Lol it's fine, we have a driveway so I would have parked it there I've SORNed it before and done that. But either way it won't be happening, I need it for work, to do the shopping, and in case of emergencies :)

If your father will need a home visit then you should make this known on the ESA50 form that he will be sent to explain details of his limitations. He will need a supporting letter from his GP and they might still say 'no'!

Assessment rate is paid until a decision is made, not just for 13 weeks, some people are waiting many months before they even get an appointment for a face2face. If awarded main phase ESA to extra payments would be backdated to the 1st day of the 14th week of the claim.

We got a call today saying our claim is being looked at :)

We've also had letters from the council all about our housing benefit and all our details from years ago, no matter how much we read it it never seems to be clear if it's asking us to pay anything o.O

And then a letter today saying as of April our rent is going up :( We'll still be getting the housing benefit discount but it's still extra to pay.

So now hopefully the ESA lady will tell the housing benefit and that what's going on and we'll get even more letters from them lol

I keep telling Dad about PIP but he keeps brushing it off. I said he probably wouldn't get the other payment because he can wash and feed himself now, he couldnt before but he is getting better :) But he could probably get the mobility one because he can't walk for long, or fast, or stand up for long as he gets very breathless. But he said with it being 'mobility' their version of 'mobile' is that you can get up. As per the example of his JSA assessment.
