Several years ago I remember being amazed when it was pointed out to me that the capacity of a 128MB dongle could actually be contained within the tiny piece of plastic that forms a micro SD card. Had anyone told me then that in my lifetime that capacity could be increased a thousand fold, I'd have thought they were absolutely bonkers!
Well, the miracle has been performed and....it's a Class 10!

The first hard disk drive which was available with the IBM PC XT had a capacity of 10 MB.
Larger hard disk drives are now available, 31 years later.
    It's called technology progress!

Check the prices again in a couple of years. You always have to pay for leading edge.

The advancing micro technology is staggering, especially to an Old Age Pensioner like me. My problem is actually handling some of these tiny devices with my arthritic hands.

I'm still overwhelmed that I could get almost all of my audio CD collection onto this tiny 'USB nano memory stick' ...

You're lucky - you can enjoy both.

...and they take up a lot less space than vinyl.

Not sure how big a pile of wax cylinders it would take to store that lot :)

I still remember how cool I though the 8mb hard drive for my Commodore Amiga was.

I think it was even cooler than you state, probably with 8 MB storage - 8 MegaBytes, not 8 millibits!
