Is it possible to do anything without "help" from a cat?

One of my cats once helped out by ripping up all the post that happened to be lying around, we then had to ring up the gas board to ask for a replacement bill because the cat had torn it up !0

LOL - in a word - no!Addiscomber wrote: »She hasn't been in the washing machine or tumble drier yet but it can only be a question of time ...
Sorry as I know this was meant in a light-hearted way but there's a member on another forum I use (who has been a cat owner for many years and is really careful) that very sadly lost one of her cats a couple of weeks ago as she'd somehow managed to get into the TD ..... so just a wee reminder to everyone to double check WM / TD everytime you use them - cats are sooooooo quick & quiet

I haven't done anything without 'help' since our cat arrived. The freakiest is when we're ahem 'getting busy' and this little cat face appears...guaranteed mood killer lol.[/QU
Before you 'get busy' make sure that the cat is not in the room and then shut the door. Another tip is that if you have got kids then put some Vaseline on the door knob !!! Enjoy yourselves.0 -
My last cat decided I needed to lose weight and used to 'paw' parts of my dinner on the floor and eat them her self to protect me from weight gain! The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.0

Mine are clearly worried about me using the stairs and so helpfully sit on them, blocking my way to remind me how dangerous they are. Clearly, sometimes they worry more than others and this is the reason that they try and scoot under my feet when running downstairs to give me more traction. They were proved right when I did indeed fall (over a cat) and tore all the ligaments in my ankle,0

One of our cats figured out how to shut down the old desktop computer we had by walking on the keyboard, pausing, then walking off it.
We never found out how she did it and couldn't recreate it.0 -
One of our two does this - it's very off-putting to look up and see a little furry face staring at you from inches away!! :shocked:I haven't done anything without 'help' since our cat arrived. The other trick they have is standing on my computer keyboard when it's asleep at night, turning the volume up to max, then pressing another key that plays iTunes. I've been woken up by some random song blaring out in the middle of the night more than once!0
