thomson delayed flight

Wrote to Thomsons about delayed flight.usual response of too long ago and cannot claim because a technical fault.sent all info down to CAA and after months of waiting the CAA had sent it back to Thomson for re investigation.have received letter back from Thomson to.day saying closing case.incident happened Feb 2011.Doncaster airport was were flight was supposed to depart from. due to technical fault we were bused down to Gatwick airport where we boarded the same plane to Barbados.plane was flown down to gatwick for repair.arrived 12 hours late in Barbados.this flight was with a cruise booked through princess cruises.any comments or ideas what to do next.should I consider court or lay down and die.thanks..

Wrong thread - you should be on Thomson one - take them to court - forget toothless/useless CAA - take them to court - you are on a winner.
