Lucky you. I have lost access to my account as the email address they had on file was for an old email I lost access to about 5 years ago. Appealed to the forum team and offered to answer security questions to prove it is the same person but no dice. 13 years of posting history gone !!!!!!
That's what I was expecting too, even though the email is the same. It took from Friday until this morning for the email to arrive. TBH our profiles just aren't the same now so it feels like we're all starting again.

  • With no easy way to see total thanks on a profile, it isn't possible to try build a reputation in the same way.

They could have started everyone at 0 posts if they weren't able to carry the thanks across. Now we can see prolific posters l, but without a way to see the thanks it's difficult to place a value on the advice given

Definitely a step backwards I feel

Length of time on the site is an important factor. Many people come and go for a whole variety of reasons. Use multiple log ins and alias in the process. Thanks shouldn't be overrated.

It looks like BPHA are knocking back PIFs where the developer number is not entered. As this was not previously requested on the PIF, this change has not been notified to stakeholders, so they have a bit of a bloody cheek and it is taking them nearly three weeks to point this out.

If you have submitted any, add the developer number and resubmit now.

I'm rapidly developing an aversion to threads where the first word of the first post is "So..."  :#

... and misuse of "myself" and "yourself" when "me" and "you" worked perfectly before but some seem to have interpreted as too direct.
The other one is use of "revert" instead of reply or respond.
As you can probably tell, I am not reacting well to my final hour or two on call on a Sunday!

  • Hi Kingstreet - I’ve read a few pages on this thread. I’m not 100% clear, are you open to receiving PMs asking for 1 to 1 advice or representation?  :D

Meanwhile, in the real world, I'm not looking for business. Our enquiry level for Feb was 150% of normal and we are at 50% for the month of March at the end of the first week. We are newbuild specialists and the builders who work with us are keeping us extremely busy.

Others of us are happy to respond to pm's. If you read the boards and pm a broker who you feel gives good advice most of us are happy to respond.
