You said Leeds... are you surprised?
I have sent them 2 cases, neither were simple (actually thats a lie, both were simple. It was Leeds that made them difficult) neither case my account manager had the slightest interest in. I would not hold them in as high disregard as Accord but they are not a million miles off.
In fact in 3 years I have never known her to pick up the phone when I call, she calls back.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. ACG. I didn't take on any cases in May at all as I didn't think it would be worth the aggro ! I spent the month just seeing the apps that were in through to offer. Glad I did really as it sounded like hell going by what other brokers have said to me.0

We did 26 cases in May.
We've had problems with four or five, which isn't a great deal, 20% when you think about it.
However, we're so busy writing mortgages, profitability is down as we're way behind on protection sales.I am a mortgage broker. Mid-end of april I stopped taking on new cases except cases I knew would not have an issue - I scraped through with only 1 having to be reassessed, which under the circumstances, I was more than happy with.
Everyone was then saying make hay whilst lenders can not see clients. I was seeing anyone and everyone and have done around 5 applications in the last week, with protection.
I have a part time administrator but she cant do anymore hours. I went self employed to enjoy life, this week I have been getting in having my tea at 9-10pm!
I think im going to get these cases along and then take a holiday.
I say this, but because last year was horrible (I have done more mortgages in the last month than I did in the whole of last year), I find it hard to turn them away.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. He was in the same office as me, I think I went to sit with him for an hour or so when I first started there. Not someone I really knew though, he was on a different floor.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I know the scores are useless - but as even small missed payments and arrears are now being used to reject I'm coming to the conclusion I should get ALL my clients to get a Statutory report before application to avoid any errors.
Anyone else already do this?
As an aside had NW and HSBC both tell a client a search and a rejection would be shown on their file - don't these muppets know anything?????
There is an argument that MMR means we have to see the credit file on all cases, even when we believe client to be 'clean'. Otherwise we will not know if the case meets lenders criteria when we submit it.I am a Mortgage Broker
