I'm not very techi and I have copied my expense forms and time sheets that I need to fill in on the my memory stick and put them on my home computer, however it won't let me enter anything in any of the fields??
I don't have excel on my comp, my son did down load a trial but it has run out now do you think that could be the problem??

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

It will only act as a viewer if trial run out. so either get a new version of excel e.g. buy office. Or you could download open office openoffice.org or search google for open office this is totally free and legal, and can open word file extensions e.g excel files you need and can enter data into them. But not opposite way about lol
If you download open office and you wanted to view it on excel at work etc you would need to save it before hand with excel file extension
Hope this makes sense....not a very good explainer

    Thanks Shutton
I've downloaded open office, well actually I asked my OH to do it but he managed it and it seems to work so thanks again.

I also have to send my diary weekly to the office too and I did this last time by attaching it as a file on my email but they said they couldn't open it as I did it in works and they have excel? Will open office solve this problem too?
