Help ive just dropped my phone in the sink.The sim is dry but the phones not working and i'm not insured.If i buy a payg t mobile phone will my t mobile contract sim work in it

that depends on network that payg fone is locked to. Which one are you interested in getting?
You could possibly find a way to unlock whatever fone you get, unlocking varies depending on make and model.

You could hope for the best and let your fone dry out completely Unfortunately its more rain than sunshine at the moment

it speeds up the corrosion and there is less chance of the mobile working again
