At my wits end
I am now at my wits end. I have had a business account with Vodafone for over 25 years. Due to errors Vodafone made last year I have ended up with over £300 of credit owing to me. Customer services have requested the refunds department to pay this money at least 4 times in to my bank account. Unfortunately due to the way it has been requested refunds have refused to do it which is not my fault and there is nothing I can do. I have spoken to customer services so many times and although they are very nice " we can see the money sitting on your account but we can't get it back to you" Posted on the eforum to be told they can't help and I should take it to a senior manager! I have BEGGED them to get a senior manager to call me back all to no avail. In the meantime my £300 sits in their bank account. As this has been going on longer than 8 weeks I have emailed the ombudsman but I would just like to get it sorted. If I owed them the money they wouldn't just sit around waiting for it..

Don't worry Lee. this is now in the hands of the ombudsman.0

Why don't you cancel your DD so as to reduce the credit due month on month? Not a tactic I'd normally recommend, but in this instance it seems a reasonable step.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Hi Elliecat,
Thanks for letting me know.
As the Ombudsman have now taken your case on you'll need to await the outcome of their investigation.
Kind regards,
