    Good morning elite...

    What a weekend I had...
I opened a facebook message on Friday afternoon from someone wanting to trace for a family tree that they thought would include me..

my dads sibling was adopted at birth following the death of their mother back in the 40's
he made efforts to contact her periodically throughout his life but was never able to trace her and sadly he died 16 years ago after making one more attempt to trace her...again unsucessfully

I now have an auntie and a cousin...and the strangest thing of all is that we both attended the same school in similar years...but we never knew we were related.

BTW BNI working well this morning.

It's funny how small the world can be sometimes. My dad has lived in his current house for 8 years and whilst he has spoken to the neighbours only found out yesterday, that the lady next door used to live in the same area as dad (a few streets away) growing up, and her mum taught him biology at school.:)

Having lots of problems getting coupons accepted at the moment...so much so that I have actually stopped printing them off preferring to request a postal one.

But it now seems that my local T will not even take the new panebello coupons as the" price of the pizza is less than the voucher"
"Well put it through as the price of the pizza then " I said
    "cant do that" they said
I had other items so it wasnt a case of it being a negative balance and infact I got to the point I couldnt care less if they wanted to keep the extra 49p that they could claim back from the manufacturer

in the end I went to S and bought one there...I say bought as I actually had to pay 1p for it because the voucher value was not the same as the price.dont you just wish it said free product and actually meant it
Either that or sunday afternoon is not the best time to shop.
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend
