Oh I see well that's made it clearer then :D

    Good Morning everyone ,

BT engineer due to call this morning between 8 and 1 bet it ll be five to 1 lol. We have made sure the fault was outside the house as we don't want a£129 + bill:eek:. Got an ex bt guy to come and see if he could fix it. He checked and said ( and I ve written it down lol ) Suspect rectified loop fault, Fault proved out to line, internal tests ok. Sadly he couldn t fix the fault as it was n t inside . Paid him £35.

Now if we d have gone straight for bt what do you bet the fault would have been inside the house. We have had intermittent bb and not being able to receive calls properly for ages now so will be glad to get it sorted. Hopefully done once and for all today ;)

How ridiculous is £129 + they ve got us by the short and curlies in my opinion.

Have cancelled sky as she couldn t give me a good deal so now need to read up on bt vision, humax recordable box the same as bt vision or a much better deal with sky. There s a sky guy at our local Morissons so I ll go and talk to him again.

I'm after an upgraded hd box reduced monthly bill and vouchers which are around at the moment. :)

    Evening all

Busy day, my sister bought my dad down by train(he know knows how easy it is but wouldnt do it on his own. When they arrived we went to local pub chain for a late lunch then enjoyed chatting over a cuppa at my house. Worked out have not been in a close family unit dad, mum, me and sister just us for a few hours since 1984 when I left home. Hade a lovely afternoon. As coming by train dad didnt pack much just his man bag so very low on clothing and had to leave his precious radio at home so I have reserved one from argos to collect on way to funeral.
I can then keep at my house so he doesnt have to keen bringing his with him.He did try radio on telly but was a bit loud for me.

My close male friend driver/handyman has found out his dad has been diagnosed with small cell bladder cancer with mastitis on his brain. His surgen admitted him today and they hope to start chemo tomorrow after his CT scan.
    Very sad news.

Had a nice early delivery from mr t so set up for the next few days.

Well I managed to get back off to sleep :)
    Morning folks :)

I often wake up around this time and can't get back to sleep. I don't know if if it's normal or if this is just me but I find that if I'm awake early morning I lay there mulling over things that have been said or done that have upset me and getting angry about them. Also recent events can trigger similar memories from the past, I always seem to think about bad stuff when I can't sleep :(

This is exactly the same for me. I was getting cross that work hadn't honoured their promises about my phased return (I'm back full time and have nights on the off duty just released for next month ) In the grand scheme of things I'm very lucky I'm well enough to be back at work at all, the extra money will come in handy and if I struggle I'll tell them so.
I always manage to find something to worry about even if it's just that I'm awake and only going to get x amount of sleep if I fall asleep now :rotfl:
