    this is by The Hippodrome

I was going to suggest Big Wok but I wasn't sure it was still going! I'd recommend doing everything else first, and then going there, because they won't be able to move far afterwards :rotfl:

I didn't appreciate them charging me 50p 'for using the glass' when I wanted tap water though...

Actually daughters friend is moving up to Edinburgh later this month - more heart break as this girl really took my daughter under her wing and introduced her to the myriad delights of London and they have been inseperable over the last couple of months.

So next weeks issue will be what to do in Edinburgh free or nearly free, what good deals come up on groupon and Livingsocial and what ones to avoid like the plague and what interesting places are only a short bus ride or a couple of train stops outside the city centre :D

My favourite Ikea is in Southampton. If you go to the top floor car park you can watch the big cruise ships sail out and you can wave like mad :rotfl:

The cheeky blighters fobbed me off

Then the woman that was on rolled her eyes and said "no it's started. I'll get that for you".:j :j :T :T "what are you buying as it's only for paying customers?"

Excellent, I tend to forget about Etap but its perfectly acceptable for a nights stay (not Saturdays of course :) and if you can think a few weeks ahead its only £29 a night midweek according to the Etap calendar which is when we tend to go AWOL anyway.
We have stayed in Southampton Etap numerous times, very nice hot showers and free wi fi so perfect for a stop over (and close enough to walk to from the stations so that saves a taxi fare :) )And they have a safe room to store luggage.

It was great until 1st march. I only have streaming and my bedroom tv is not netflix compatable, nor is my tablet.
Think I will ring them tomorrow as do not see point of subscription if practically everything needs additional cost. Will just have to work out getting tablet to stream through tv.
Such a shame as had so much use out of lovefilm:(
    V x

I had the same prob, Have you tried downloading the netflix app?:)

    Afternoon all!:D
