Good morning lovely people.
All winter I moaned about how dark it was in the morning and now its the light mornings that is also doing my head in
So I woke up at about 5.45 and realised OH had already gone to work so I thought I might as well get up.
Also he had not switched the wash machine on even though I left a note for him.
I've been reading the metre daily and I now know if I put a short load in the machine it uses 4 - I don't know what the unit is but its 4.
So as we are on economy 7 its cheaper doing it before 7.30
Enjoying the 1st cuppa and enjoying the dawn and embracing my inner lark :T“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Up at 6 to put a wash load on and what else do I have to look forward to today.
Well the local joinery is delivering some very long skirting boards and I have to wrestle plastic over them incase it rains before Wednesday
Then I've got to order flea treatment for cats.
Which reminds me I might as well make more tea and epilate my legs
Its just non stop glamour and glitz around here :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

Thank you all for your advice about premium bonds. I think on the whole I'll find something better to put my money intoI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. On the subject of premium bonds I found in a wet drain outside my house a soaking wet fiver so I bought my one and only premium bond - about 30 years ago when you could. I think I was earning £12 a week at the time so a fiver was a considerable find.
If this was Hollywood that premium bond would have won me numerous prizes over the years whenever the need arose but its not.
It has never won me anything whatsoever.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Don't know if this will give an apg from Ts but if you look at the post the 8 pack frazzles are 3 4 £4 in As and £1 per pack in Ts.

In theory if you do a lot of ebaying of small items or book selling on Amazon and/or entering competitions and draws and you have a clear idea what your postage budget is (or has been in the previous year) then it might be worth considering bulk buying 1st and 2nd class and also the large letter ones before the postal rise
At least it will save a bit of money“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
