Thanks for that justontime.. Alot of people seem to be in denial that anyone who is assesed under the CSA1 rules that the CSA only take the N.R.P's income is taken into consideration when doing an assesment, as you have said in your post this is not the case.
I know the CSA request the N.R.P.P. wage slip under the guise of making sure that the household has enough to live on!! well if thats the case why does it increase,
So am could say to my g/f you can move in but you will have to give me up to 30% of your money and we will have a protected income which is the same as a married couple on J.S.A. !!!
11 more payments before i finish!!!:beer::beer::beer::j:T:T:T:T:T:beer::beer::T:)0 -
I think the inconsistencies are very unfair of how the CSA treat nrp's as jarhead and justontime state.That is why they have to keep changing the systems so often,CSA1,CSA2 etc One rule for the pwc- one set for the nrp(regarding the fines for false information etc Not all pwc's are honest as EQUALLY not all nrp's are so why not judge each case on it's merits ? It was difficult when my daughter had 2 stepsisters of same age as her(or year younger) Our household was unable to claim tax credits as the figure is assessed before over a quarter of household income went to pwc on CM.I had to pay for my daughter at college,for all her trips ,books and travel when pwc got it all free.The pwc was always asking for new shoes etc ( I thought the CM was for things like that really)and they were allowed to spend the family allowance on expensive make up but my daughter had to make her shoes last and have more practical ones as we couldn't afford to replace them as frequently.I tried to help her understand but it is very hard when you feel your daughter isn't classed as as important by the CSA(we had to fight for the right at a tribunal ). I welcomed all the 4 children into my home when I met the nrp as they stayed every week in 2 sets of bunk beds. I am gutted my husband has been treated like this and the children are all alienated from us.I worked hard to make a good family life for us all and she has ruined it for money- with the CSA's blessing it seems!!0

Well said Callysmart!! You have put your case across very well and destryoed the mith that CSA1 does not take the N.R.P.P. income into account.. It must have been very hard at times especially to know that the CSA was behind it all...0

Cally, can i ask, the children that you have, are they from a previous relationship or with your partner/husband who has the 4 other kids?0

This is SO wrong!! How can such a massive organisation make such RIDICULOUS rules like this? Callysmart, I really feel for you! Jarhead66, you too as you can't even move on with your life without the CSA butting in!
It is like they are rewarding "broken" families, and penalising families who stay together, how does that work?!
Quick question - If the CSA take in to account NRPP's wage, do they take in to account PWCP's wage too? I damn hope so! I don't know an awful lot about CSA1...0 -
Taxes take into account pwcp income as well as Pitney benefits. If I lose my job tomorrow my partner would be expected to take over and support my children. This want the case when my ex list his job and his partner took over supporting him. So don't think we can say that nrpps have it worse than pwcps on the opposite.0

my older daughter is from previous relationship and youngest son is from my partner.We were paying the pwc direct and had open house to the children as well as every weekend.We considered we could afford a child but we didn't bank on the pwc denying that CM had been paid years later....0
