Waterproof Jacket warrant issue

I bought a Mountain Equipment Tupilak jacket from Snow and Rock a few years ago.The lamenate started to come away and they jacket went a horrible colour.
Anyway to cut a long story short it was sent back to Goretex who said the jacket was faulty.
My issues started with Snow and Rock. They told me i would get an answer within 2 weeks. Yet it took me 4 and a half weeks and a few phone calls and rants on their Facebook page to get a result.
So now Snow and Rock are telling me i can either
A) Be given a refund of £175. I paid £175 for the jacket in the sales. It retails at £330.
Be given a credit note of £175
C) Choose either 1 of either Mountain Equipment Changabang and give them an extra £200 or Norrona Bitihorn Gore tex jacket and i pay an extra £190.
D) Choose either Mountain Equipment Lhotse or Mountain Equipment Kongur and pay no extra. These jackets retail at £300 but are not suitable for what i want.
They are saying as there are no Mountain Equipment Tupilaks in stock i cannot be replaced with one. Even though other stockists have them like Cotswolds and Ellis Brigham.
Plus they also want me to make a decision TODAY.
I have told them that why should i pay more money towards a jacket, plus risking the jackets not fitting, and also the jackets not being the same spec as my old one.
They have also said 'Why dont i wait and see if a jacket gets cheaper when their sale starts sometime'.
I have just been down to my local Snow and Rock and the choice and stock of jackets is pathetic. Plus they already have a sale on. I tried on a few different brands of jacket and not one fitted properly in any size. Some the arms were for apes, some of the hoods you would need a head the size of an elephant and the others were just poor spec/material.
So am i being unfair by demanding a jacket worth £330 which my old one retails at??
Mountain Equipment are refusing to do anything about it as well and say the issue is not theirs.

They offered you a full refund for a jacket a few years old? Bite their hands of quick, you are not entitled to a jacket costing more so put that out your head.
They could in fact be difficult and give you a partial refund for the use you have had from the jacket, being a few years old that could be a pretty big discount.
The manufacturer is right, you remedy lies only with the retailer.0 -

1001% unfair.
Take the refund and buy from an alternative stockist should you so wish.
Just know this, they can reduce the refund to take account of use - a 'few years' of a jackets lifespan could be as much as 30-50% of a reduction.0 -
You want a refund, the equivalent of double what you paid, for a jacket that's a few years old?
You are being unfair I'm afraid. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Haven't you read the responses so far? You aren't entitled to a new jacket, nor the cost of one.0 -

The lifetime warranty is provided by the manufacturer not the retailer. The retailer has been more than generous in their offer, if you want more perhaps you should contact the manufacturer?0 -
Yes, but they didn't have another in stock.0
-
The retailer is being more than fair...after a few years of use and they are still willing to give you a full refund..you would be better taking the offer before they recind it.0

Does this jacket actually come with a lifetime guarantee?0
