What do you mean what do I mean?

    The seller refunded me.

    I've repaid for the goods.

It's pointless to keep paying the seller, they are not going to sell them to you now... while it's not good practice to renage on a sale they have done and playing ping pong is not going to make them change their mind.

There's also the possibility of suing for 'loss of bargain'.

Not a chance in hell. All the seller needs to do, is say that there was a typo on the listing and the money was refunded immediately. No district judge in the land is going to award judgement to the OP on this basis,

Also the seller can show the amount and approx. value of the goods was not realistic for 99p. Anyone who has any experience of the county court system (and I do, I'm currently taking two banks to court and I wouldn't bother if I didn't know I was going to win), will know that the judge will take a pretty dim view of this sort of claim.

That's why I said don't bother. That said there have been a few successful cases gone through the courts both for Ebay and auction houses, so obviously judges you don't know (there must be a few;)) have looked on it favourably.
