Three Mobile - Getting Signal at Home
I recently popped into my Three store to get my contract renewed and after answering a few of their questions I pointed out my house doesn't get good signal at all which is an absolute pain as I run my business from home. They said they'd get somebody to give me a call and they might be able to rectify the problem.
A couple of days later I get a call, answers a few questions and they suggest that I am eligible for a home signal box. My signal has gone from nothing / one bar to full strength at all times.
Anybody with the no signal at home problem I recommend you give them a call as it's made a massive difference.

Did 3 send you a home signal box? how much did they charge you or was it free? What happens if you push this button?0

Full strength? On their website My3 often shows 5 bars for my HSPA+ dongle, yet the download rate is barely 1mb / sec.
Sadly, you need to have a fixed line Home
Broadband connection
and router with a spare
Ethernet port.

Ive got one of their home signal boxes. Went from 1 bar to a constant 5 bars inside.
Cost absolutely nothing!0 -
I've got one for Vodafone, but it cost £100 (thanks work!). I go from 1 bar to 5 also.
O2 can use software called TuGo (for smartphones), but frankly its a bit rubbish and unreliable0 -
I recently started a 12 month sim-only One Plan with Three & as soon as i used the sim i realised there was almost no signal throughout my flat. One call to Three followed by a call back the next day and i was told i qualified for a free Home Signal box which arrived within 2 days. I had no problem getting one and the signal is no less than 50% anywhere in my flat now. Best stand in a signal weak-spot for the calls to Three though as they can tell what your signal actually is (apparently).0
