I've just received the USB mouse and thankfully it has resolved the issue. The only thing is that I don't have a mouse mat. I've tried using it with a slightly textured cutting mat, the wooden table and a white sheet of A4 with so so results. It works best on my leg! Any ideas?0

Assuming its an optical mouse it should work fine on any flatish surface.0
