your right i luv cats, and to me their chickens taste funny too, much prefer the aldi free range hobby ay 4.99 which is lovely.I_luv_cats wrote: »Often I sway away from Morrisons chicken as it tends to have an off -white colour to it.
Don't know what the cause is, but it looks un-appertising
Breast fillets can be pinky-brown in colour. Before you point fingers, make sure your hands are clean !;)0 -
No problems with these chickens from myself and none with the previous offers.
Bought one today and plenty of various weights - take your pick.
I like the M&S Oakham ones, but M&S won't be selling them at £1.75kg I'd imagine. I generally get the M&S ones as part of the £10 meal deal (pick up one of the larger ones - lol).
No problems with the Co-op ones either when on offer.

Agreed it's a good deal, maybe in a casserole,or with a sauce on,the price can't be beaten, but just don't like the colouring of their chickens.i wish m and s would do offers like morrisons, but got to agree, doubt very much.No problems with these chickens from myself and none with the previous offers.

You are missing the point. Morrison's are lying through their teeth and pretending a price that saves pennies is saving fifty percent.Lidl isn't cheaper than this promo at the moment, 1.5 kilo chuck was 3.48 today. Similar size in morrison would be about 2.62kg or thereabouts
Aldi are 2.42kg at the moment
No-one should reward a supermarket through buying rubbish like this - but too many customers do. Most shoppers totally lack any sense of community spirit and are quite happy to work to their own disadvantage.0 -

Or perhaps they're smarter than you think and just buy the cheapest, or what they happen to like, regardless of advertising hype or... tribal loyalties.0 -

For one, these chickens aren't rubbish, although aldi lovers will say they are just to make the cheap carp aldi sell look better.
For two, if I want chicken what should I do, go to another supermarket and pay more just to stick a finger up at Morrisons. Isn't that just cutting your nose of to spite your face?
It was me who first implied that they may not actually be half price, but the main point is they are cheaper than they were and represent a good deal.
If you don't like, don't buy it........0 -
Don't know what you lot are all arguing about. They are the cheapest per kilo around right now, that's all the thread was about. I will be stocking up.0

Can we leave the playground stuff and petty sniping off this forum please. Shop where you want to shop, that's your business and don't worry about where others shop, that's their business.0
