  • I'm with British Gas and I remember they told me( during the 1st year of WHD) that I could transfer the payment from the electricity to gas if I wanted. I've never had to transfer as I am always over £120 in credit with my electricity account and so they automatically send me a cheque, which I just pay into my bank.

Surely anyone on gas and electric will simply have money left over at the end of the month making it easier to pay there gas bill?
Anyway my question is is the payment made monthly?
I have only just found out about it how long has it been available? Please don't depress by saying years!
I only use £21 a month this will help me pay my LPG bill.

I've just asked my friend who says he's had it for at least the last two years but it could be three.

The payment is made annually - I've just had a letter from my energy company saying my application was successful, and my electricity account will be being credited sometime this month.
