Searching competition forum threads

Hi, I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not but in the advanced search option of the Competitions time forum I type in my keyword and ask it to order results by number of views but it doesn't do this.

I tried this using by ascending order and no joy (81 results) and then by descending order with the same keyword and still no joy but this time 166 results?

The search doesn't seem to be returning any logical order and I don't understand why I get a different numbers of threads returned when I reverse the order?

Any suggestions?
